INTO University
The design team was starting to feel more and more like a production/delivery team and not like a creative design team. Team members were getting caught up in the grind of daily work when deadlines were tight. Stress and burnout were becoming more frequent and team members were starting to get demotivated.
My approach:
I ran the first INTO hack day! The goal was to give the team a chance to work on something new or to improve upon something they cared about. A lot of companies turn to hack days to allow their employees some creative freedom.
I wanted the team to have a full day to explore, create, and have fun with a project. I also wanted them to collaborate with people they wouldn't usually get to collaborate with.
